Hotel Pacande B&B - Alajuela

Would recommend for a weekend trip

Clean room, friendly staff, the breakfast included a good variety of local fruits, and the luggage storage was a significant convenience for our early departure.

Honestly no reason to complain. Pleasant stay, little place. Especially helpful staff with a good portion of humor. Comfy beds, TV set and tea/coffee making equipment in the room.

Straightforward hotel, appreciated our stay, it had delicious food and wonderful location right in the center. We had lovely and wonderful room with hypo-allergenic pillows. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the staff were friendly. Location: the venue was really close to the shops, Alajuela restaurants, bars, and whatnots and short taxi to airport...

The hotel advertised a free airport shuttle but only provided it for the return trip, misleading.

Lots of appetising options for meal. Double room with queen beds. Excellent staff and marvellous location next to the downtown area, good local restaurants, and the main square and streets of the city. Also, very close to the airport.

I was disappointed with the lack of basic amenities. The noise from the street and shared areas was downright unbearable. The shared bathroom facilities were cramped and left much to be desired, unacceptable for any hotel stay.

No soundproofing between rooms left me awake at night!!! The shared bathroom experience could be awkward if others were using it. Parking on the street may be tricky, as space was limited!!!

The breakfast was defintely a disappointment, just a sad scoop of rice and tiny eggs. Plus, the noise from the street kept me up all night. I was really hoping for some kind of upgrade or even a complimentary coffee to make up for my misery, but no, just the same old boring treatment. Almost left a good review but just couldn't.

Just a good pick for a short break in Alajuela with good value. Parking nearby is convenient, costing only about $7 for overnight.

Arrived with warm hospitality. Clean room and the courtyard is a gem. Breakfast was delightfully hearty, and I had a safe spot to relax before heading to the airport.

Had a nice and spacious room with a comfy bed and hot shower. The breakfast was fantastic, filled with fresh fruit. I would stay again!

This small establishment is quite clean, wonderfully located in the town center with incredibly friendly and helpful staff who take care of parking close by.
